Ashley and Andrew Seal-and-Send Invitation

This was my first seal-and-send style of wedding invitation. All parts of the invitation are integrated into one folded piece with the response card attached at the bottom. Once you fill out your response, you can easily tear it off with the perforated edge and mail it back.

I wasn’t able to get a picture of the programs before I passed them off to Ashley & Andrew, but Erich McVey Photography snapped a picture of the basket full of programs. They were designed as a fan to keep guests cool during the warm summer ceremony.

Rebecca and Nathan’s Invitation Set

I had the honor of designing the wedding invitations for Rebecca and Nathan blank for their wedding last June. They are now expecting a baby this summer, so they’ve had a very exciting past year of events!

I’m in love with the final outcome of these invites! We did a less formal approach to the text layout on the invitation with the use of banners and various font choices. We incorporated a floral pattern into the envelope liner which really worked to tie everything together. Their invitation set included the invitation, reply card, information insert, address printing on the envelopes and of course that pretty envelope liner!

Hayley’s First Birthday Invitations

These invitations were based on a rainbow color theme for Hayley’s first birthday party! We wanted to incorporate her photo into the invitation without it being printed ON the invitation – so we decided on the idea of a belly band. We printed and matted the photo separately, and then slid it over the invitation on a light purple band.

Since the chevron pattern is all the rage, we did a rainbow chevron pattern as the envelope liner and incorporated a small piece of it on the bottom of the invitation as well. I love how playful the invitation turned out! Since it was for a little girl, we thought it would be fun to bring in numbers like the time being 12:34, and the date being on the 6th with numbers 1-10 shown. We finished it off with custom address labels!

These were a BIG hit with all her guests. Here are some pictures of the finished invitation below.

If you are interested in using this design for a party or shower, I hope to list it as a printable for purchase in my Etsy Shop very soon.

Ashley’s Baby Shower Invitations

I’ve been very behind on my blogging these days! I have so many good posts I need to share and am hoping that over the next few weeks I can attempt to get caught up.

First, I have the baby shower invitation that I designed for my friend Ashley! I was inspired by her nursery design and fabric choices, which I incorporated into the design. Her color palate was dark blue, tan, burnt orange and off-white, so I was able to bring in all those colors into the invitation.

Her set included the invite with matting, burnt orange envelope with liner and custom address labels. We also included a small insert with information about the prize drawing. Here are some pictures of the finished invitation below.

If you are interested in using this design for a party or shower, I hope to list it as a printable for purchase in my Etsy Shop very soon.

Etsy shop!!!! Holla… these are to cute not to make available to the world! Good job Meg!

Jaxon 3 Months

Wow, I can’t believe Jaxon is 3 months old! It’s been so much fun watching him develop and change in these last few weeks. He started laughing, which is the greatest sound in the world! He’s also getting better at grabbing for things and focusing on objects. We also have fun reading books together (especially the touch and feel kind).

We had a mini photoshoot together to show off his 3 month old self! I can’t believe how blue his eyes are. I know that babies eyes can change color up to 8 months, but I would be shocked if they changed. Looks like we might have a blue eyed blondey on our hands! Cute little dude.

He’s already wearing 6 month sizes in almost all his clothes. People are shocked when I tell them he’s only 3 months because he’s such a big guy!
