Log House Garden Marketing Materials

With the bridal show season upon us, Log House Garden wanted some fresh marketing material to really impress the 2012 brides at the shows. Having well-designed materials that beautifully showcase your products or services makes a massive difference!

In this case, I re-designed their postcards and business cards giving them a fresh update. Using photos from Jim Bunker Photography, and recent photos from Erich McVey Photography to showcase the gorgeous venue.

Including a custom map on the backside helps brides better visualize the location

The business cards coordinate perfectly with the postcard making their new materials very cohesive

We printed the business cards with a high gloss finish and rounded corners to soften the look

If you are on the search for a Wedding or Event venue, I would highly recommend you consider Log House Garden. Lanora and John are wonderful people to work with, and their venue is beyond gorgeous. The amount of blooming flowers in the Spring through Fall seasons is truly breathtaking! Not to mention the venue can hold up to 300 people, they let you bring in the caterer of your choice, tables and chairs are included, ample parking…etc! Megan – you did such an awesome job on our materials. Everyone at the Portland Wedding Show loved them and we passed out over 1000 of them. You are so great to work with. Lanora

Featured in Willamette Woman Magazine

A few months back I was interviewed by Tina Deschamps for an article she was writing for Willamette Woman on current wedding trends. A portion of her piece would include trends regarding Invitations and Stationery which is where I came in. I gave advice on printing styles, money saving tips, timeline for mailing stationery, how many invitations to order…etc. Hopefully it proves helpful to anyone who reads through the article!

I knew the article would be featured in the January 2012 issue, but I had completely forgotten until my Mom called this past Sunday morning to tell me I was featured in Willamette Woman (thanks Mom!) I thought Tina did a great job at capturing the current trends and also providing an abundance of helpful tips for brides not only on Invitations, but also the dress, venue, flowers, decor, cakes and reception!

The spread below includes the “Invitations and Stationery” article, and also has a photo of one of my designs (shown on the left).

Chelsea + Ben: Vintage Roses Wedding Invitation

Lets finish out 2011 with one of my favorite invitation sets from the year! Chelsea Stinger and Benjamin Park were married a little over a month ago at the LDS Temple in Portland, followed up with a reception at Zenith Vineyard. Their photographer Erich McVey Photography was kind enough to snap some amazing shots of their invitation set on the marble steps leading into the temple.

Their set included the invitation which was matted with a flat black matting and attached to a brown metallic pocketfold. The four inserts outlined directions to the vineyard, a response postcard, registry information and the temple ceremony. All of which was sealed closed, inserted in an opal metallic envelope and finished off with a custom address label.
