Hi there, thanks for stopping by!
I’m Megan Ward, the owner and graphic designer of Red Pearl Designs. Ever since I began this business in 2009, I have been dabbling in a variety of design, from commercial projects to baby announcements. By far, Custom Invitations and Stationery is what I am most passionate about, so I have decided to change gears and focus my business entirely on just that.
In both 2010 and 2011, I was voted Best Invitations in the Willamette Valley by Oregon Bride Magazine, and I continually strive to live up to that standard. I’m not happy unless my customers are happy!
After graduating from Portland State University in 2008 with a degree in Advertising and Graphic Design, I started this design business and have been living my dream ever since!
Well, now that you know a little about me... I would love to get to know YOU! Drop me an email to ask questions, request a quote, or just to say hello! Hope to hear from you.

Mine would have to be: mashed taters!!! They don’t call me potato princess for nothin! Love you megs!
I may seem crazy, but I look forward to the mean green bean cassorole every year and anything that has yams and/or sweet potato in it. Yum!!
Great giveaway by the way! This is the first year my little family is sending out Christmas cards and this would be amazing!
I LOVE pumpkin bread!!!!! And I eat wayyyy too much of it during the holidays. :p I posted your link on my Facebook too, so that’s two entries for me. Thanks!

Thanks for the chance!!!
This is a great idea! My favorite holiday food has got to be….divinity!!! Happy holidays!!!
my plan was to say bear claws… but i see another admirer of the delicious holiday treats has beat me to it! ha, oh well. There’s truly nothing like our famous bear claws…
Love a good giveaway! My favorite Christmas food is by far my Grammy’s Mac and Cheese. Growing up I didn’t really eat meat and so my Grammy always made me a special meal of delicious ovenbaked, bread crumb deliciousness and sharp cheddar Mac & Cheese. She passed away last year, but of course we continue the tradition
I posted on Facebook too, so that’s two entries for me!
Glad I saw your facebook post tonight and got to enter this amazing contest! My favorite holiday food is easily my mom’s peanut brittle!! Look forward to it every year! Just posted to a link to facebook too, so 2 entries
Two words: bear claws.
My Grandma started making them years ago…I actually don’t remember a holiday without them! I’ve seen (and eaten, with much disappointment) bear claws from the pastry case at local stores and bakeries. Nothing comes close. Making one batch of these babies uses almost a pound of butter, and that in itself should attest to the amazingness! hahaha And I do believe miss Megan, that you have partaken of their glory???
I’m so happy to share your beautiful site and promote your business…you are one talented lady!
My favorite holiday food is my grandma’s cardamom bread! It’s a little spicy and sweet! Yummy!
Thanks you are amazing!
My favorite holiday food has to be elephant cake that my grandma makes. It’s called elephant cake because grandma says you feel like an elephant after you eat it. Oh grams!

My favorite holiday food was my grandma’s homemade yeast rolls…so good! Thanks for the giveaway!
Gorgeous cards! I would love to win these! Holiday food is always a favorite subject- oh my gosh- where to start? Sweet potatoes, homemade breads, cookies, and stuffing. Carbs, carbs, carbs! ; )
I’m laughing so hard at Brianne’s comment about the canned black olives! I eat them off my fingers, too. LOL Always have, then taught my kids to do it, too. My mother is horrified.
Your cards are so divine.. would love my little girl’s face on them this holiday season. There are so many things I love to eat during the holidays, but I think I would forgo all sweets just for the turkey. It is so good that day and the day after on a sandwich…comfort food at it’s best. I deserve two entries because I am commenting and now following thanks to alamode. Thank you for the giveaway.
2 entries….my favorite Christmas food has to be Ebelskivers, a yummy batter used to make pockets you can fill with anything, I love caramel and apples! And I put your giveaway on my Facebook page!

I love your cards! Hmm, my favorite Holiday food would have to be Christmas desserts of course. haha. But out of all of the ones to choose from, I’d have to say just the old fashioned Christmas cookies!

To decide on one holiday food is impossible. How about I list my favorites? Cheeseball, mashed potatoes, GRAVY, homemade rolls, bearclaws, moist turkey….I could go on but I’ll stop there.
3 entries for me: I posted on facebook, I commented and I subscribed via google reader.
My family always makes banana pudding for Christmas with sliced bananas and crushed vanilla wafers! I LOVE it!!
But then I also really love cranberry sauce too!

I love Christmas! And your cards are so beautiful.
My favorite holiday food is apple pie – is that even a holiday food? Well, I love it!
(Three entries: facebook and subscriber!)
Love holiday feasts so much that it’s tough to pick just one favorite! I am most looking forward to the traditional stuffing and sweet potatoes…Oh and stuffed mushrooms! {I’m all about the sides!} Oh and any and all kinds of pie for dessert! Drooling just thinking about it! Happy holidays to you and yours
(2 entries ~ subscribed and left a comment!)
Well I just love food in general so to choose one is a little bit more difficult. Does Starbucks peppermint mocha count?! If not, I’ll say mashed potatoes and rolls. I’m all about the comfort food. Also I better win because these cards are GORGEOUS and I am in love!

Megan!!!! What a great idea this is
. Thanks for offering it!!!!! My favorite holiday food is pumpkin pie, hands down! I think I will have two entries if I can figure out facebook too!
Favorite holiday food…has to be puppy chow! Love the chex cereal all covered in melted chocolate and peanut butter then sprinkled with powered sugar. Nothing better than that! (2 entries)
I LOVE Christmas! I enjoy waking up Christmas morning to MONKEY BREAD. It makes the house smell like cinnamon rolls but it tastes even better than it smells. My son just turned one and I would like to begin the tradition of having it every year on Christmas morning
My favorite holiday food is cheesecake! I have a major sweet tooth, and I love pretty much any kind of cheesecake as long as there are no cherries on it.
You cards are beautiful and whom ever gets the 50 free cards is very lucky to be able to send out such beautiful work! (2 entries)
mmm… My favorite holiday food. Can I say everything? Well, if I had to pick, it would probably be chocolate truffles, with orange cream filling. Though they are so hard to make, it is totally worth it! (even if they are not perfectly round, which mine never are!)
My 3 entries include this post, Facebook, and I believe I am now a subscriber. I don’t have a blog, but does pinterest count?
Favorite holiday food: My grandma’s apple pie (sooo good!). Number of entrees for me: 3. Congrats on what is sure to be a successful giveaway, Megan! You are so incredibly talented – I’d be silly not to enter!
When i think of my Christmas day food, my mind immediately turns to what are deemed as “snowballs” by our crew. It has been a tradition to sing Silent Night with the lights turned down with our Snowball in hand (chocolate-chip mint or chocolate ice cream adorned with a gel holly leaf) that has a candle lit on top. Upon the colmpetion of the song, the competion begins as each of us attempt to eat our Snowball while the candle remains lit.
(i have 3 entries to my name)
Megan, thanks for the opportunity! Favorite holiday food…anything chocolate/peanut butter. If I was to get more specific, chocolate peanut butter balls (that counts as a food, right?)! I could eat them until I’m sick.
Its a tie between mashed potatoes and pumpkin roll for my favorite holiday food. My mom and mother-in-law both make some pretty awesome mash potatoes, and well now I do too. My Aunt Mary makes some killer pumpkin roll though and during the holidays I can’t get enough of this dessert and allow myself to eat as much as I can physically handle. I think your cards look so lovely and I would love to win some free ones since I’m very broke. I should get 2 entries. Thank You!
Hello! Thinking about my favorite holiday food left me with a watering mouth and an urge to bake. I can’t wait to cut into a pecan pie on Thanksgiving and fork some of that syrupy molasses goo into my gullet. That gooey mixture combined with the perfectly offsetting crunch of the candied pecans create the best holiday dessert.
(Only 3 entries… I don’t think my old high school live journal constitutes a blog.)
I’m SO glad I found you! I’ve been looking for custom, high-end holiday cards to offer my clients…and here you are! My fave holiday food is stuffing! Nothing fancy, from the box is fine by me! Though, this year, I’ll be experimenting with making mine from scratch! I deserve 3 entries…one for this, FB, and I’ll be subscribing to your blog!
Three fabulous holiday foods come to mind. The first, candied yams – marshmallows, brown sugar, butter…oh and some yams thrown in there too…MMM! The second, is a little short-bread cookie my mom used to make. She would dip one side of the cookie in chocolate and then toasted pecans or almonds. They are divine. She doesn’t make them anymore, but I’ve taken to making at least one batch every year. Lastly, my mom’s homemade caramels. Once you’ve had homemade caramel, you will never ever again eat a store bought one. No comparison. I remember her making them, waiting for them to set up, cutting them, and then spending HOURS hand wrapping them to give out to all of the neighbors
If you let me count the Felicity blog as well as my personal, I get 5 entries!! Thanks, Megan!
I LOVE sweet potatoes…. sweet potatoes would have to be my favorite!!!! I an leaving a comment, and I will be posting to our blog and my facebook… I must win this year, I saw the winners cards last year and they were amazing! This year is all mine
Good luck to the rest of you!!!!
I would have to say that my favorite holiday food is probably mashed potatoes and gravy…MmMmmmMMm and a close second place is this amazing fruit salad that my mom makes during holidays and family get togethers!

I dont have a blog so im out of luck on that one! Can ya tell I want these holiday cards?! I think it would be super special for our first christmas being Mr. & Mrs. and being in school full time, makes for a tight budget, so FREE things and contests are fun !
Thanks Megan for having holiday contest!
Oh….my favorite holiday food! I would say sour cream twists- they’re a kind of cookie/pastry thingy. I am NOT a baker. So, when my new sister-in-law (Sally Sturm…uh, Metzger now) invited me to her mom’s house years ago for a holiday cookie baking party, I thought, “why in the world would she want my disastrous burning skills around her delightful cookies? She obviously has NO idea who she’s dealing with here….” But, being the dutiful sister I am, I went anyways. I do believe it took her, her sister Carli, her mother Robin, AND her aunt Kim each showing me how to make the darn things, but by golly, I made ‘em! To this day, sour cream twists are the only baked good that doesn’t come from a Betty Crocker box that I make.
Megan, I love every opportunity I get to promote you – and this is also for a great cause…FREE things!
Favorite holiday food answer: Canned Black Olives. I realize that’s a weird answer, a close second is Mashed Potatoes. However, as a kid (and still today) I put the black olives on my fingers and eat them off. Also, the black olives are the appetizer at my family feast…and the meal always takes FOREVER. So it’s a fun way of entertaining my tummy before the real eating begins. Henceforth, Black Olives are my favorite holiday food.
